Mark Beretta - Ambassador

Mark Beretta OAM is one of Australia’s best known sport commentators, and is also a proud dog owner, and a supporter of Ninja’s Trust.

“We always had German Shepherds growing up, so I know what loyal, hard-working and beautiful dogs they are. All our working dogs on the front line do incredible work in service to the community, and like all our veterans, they need our support when they retire. Ninja’s Trust does that so well,” Beretta says.

Mark has presented on Seven's coverage of 13 Summer and Winter Olympic Games, as well as Commonwealth Games, Australian Open tennis, Sydney Hobart yacht race, Bathurst 1000, the Supercars Championship, Bathurst 12 and 24 Hour Races, World Cup Aerials, Moomba Masters, Surf League, and Seven’s Winter Sports.

Dr Bonnie - Ninja's Trust Vet

Dr. Bonnie grew up on rural properties in Murrumbateman and Merimbula before heading to Charles Sturt to undertake her double degree in Veterinary Biology and Veterinary Science.

"As a vet in Canberra, I am lucky enough to regularly work with AFP dogs throughout their career. Once they have retired from service and found their wonderful new homes, their veterinary care doesn’t stop there. As they get older, they require regular health check ups and screening tests, and may be at an increased risk of conditions such as osteoarthritis and dental disease".

"Ninja’s Trust is crucial in being able to spread awareness of the ongoing needs of these dogs, as well as being able to raise money to help contribute to the costs of their care and ensuring they have the retirement they deserve".
